Spiritual Philosophy

A revolution outside stays unfinished until something changes within.

People ask — how did a comrade arrive at the spiritual? His answer is that the question itself is wrong. The right question is why a comrade would not arrive there.

If you truly wish to understand a human being, you must go down into the world inside him as well as the world outside. Poverty is outside — but where is greed? Exploitation is outside — but where is ego? Violence is outside — but where is anger? The system is outside — but where does the man who runs it come from?

Every question has the same answer: from inside the human being. Which is why he came to feel that a revolution outside is unfinished. Until consciousness changes, revolution keeps returning wearing the same old faces.

My fire did not go out. It changed direction.
